Send me your July
It’s the first weekend of August. You just closed one of your busier months of the year, and if somebody asked how July went, the honest answer sits somewhere between “pretty good, I think” and “let me check next week.”
I want to save you the check. Send me your July, and I’ll send back what a Monday morning briefing on your business would say.
Here is the ask. However you keep your jobs, in a spreadsheet, in a folder of PDFs, in a CSV export from the tool you’re on now, in screenshots off your phone, email it over. Any thirty-day window in the last ninety days works. All of July, or the last four weeks, or June bleeding into July if that’s cleaner. Just enough for me to see the shape of your business.
I’ll read it and write you back a two-page briefing pulled from your own numbers. Revenue and where it came from. Jobs booked versus jobs completed. Unpaid invoices with a date on each one. Customers who used to come every quarter and didn’t show up this one. Techs whose hours don’t square with the invoices they left. Then three or four things worth doing this week.
No signup. No trial. No call unless you want one after. Turnaround inside 48 hours.
You know your July better than anyone. You just haven’t seen it in numbers yet.
Here is why I’m offering it. The software most shops use today stores your data and hands it back to you as tables. That was the 2015 version of the job. What a small trade business actually needs is software that reads its own numbers and tells the owner what’s off, what’s growing, and what’s worth doing before Monday. Nyva does that automatically every week. The shop’s owner gets an SMS summary Monday at 6 AM and can ask follow-up questions in the app.
But you shouldn’t have to sign up to see whether that would actually help you. So this month I’m doing it by hand, for anyone reading this, for free.
What you get back is the same briefing your business would produce if you were on Nyva today. Written honestly. If your July was quietly great, I’ll say why. If I see a leak in the numbers, I’ll show you where. If I can’t read anything useful from what you sent, I’ll tell you that too, and ask for the one thing that would let me.
Here is the ask.
Email hello@nyva.app with the subject line “July briefing.” Attach whatever you have. Tell me the trade you run (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, pool, pest, landscaping, garage door, whatever) and how many techs you’re paying. That’s enough for me to write you something worth reading.
